We save time every day for acute care appointments so that our canine patients can be treated as soon as they become injured or ill without an expensive trip to the ER. We will make every effort to fit your pet in and if we do not have an appointment available, we will fit your pet in as a ”drop-off”.
What conditions fall under “Urgent Care”?
Injuries
Falls
Bleeding
Infection
Ear infections
Severe lameness
Bite wounds. Dog, cat or raccoon bites
Abscesses
Lacerations
Wounds
Hot spots (scratching the skin until it is raw)
Bleeding tumors
Painful urination
inability to urinate
Urinating small, frequent amounts
Bloody urine or stools
Inability to defecate,
Dehydration
Pets not eating or drinking for more than a day
Fever
Any and all eye conditions (scratches, discharge, holding eye closed)
Yellowing of the skin
Pale skin or gum
Recent bouts of diarrhea and/or vomiting
