Dr. Woodling grew up in the desert of southwestern New Mexico. Her first job was as a kennel assistant at the local vet hospital, and it stuck.
After earning a BSN from the University of New Mexico and working in human medicine for a few years, she returned to the veterinary field, graduating from University College Dublin in Ireland, a choice that combined vet school with her love of travel. During her studies she worked at the Pet Emergency Hospital in Dublin, helping triage and care for hospitalized patients.
Seattle’s outdoors and food scene eventually drew her and her husband here. Her special interests are cardiology, feline medicine, and preventive care.
Away from work you’ll find her outdoors with her husband, trying a new local microbrewery, or at home getting snuggles from her cat, Belle (a.k.a. Toodle Bug).
